Faith: I love Jesus. “The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost” (1 Timothy 1:15).

Family: Peter, a handsome and fascinating individual, has been my husband since April 5, 2008. At parties, we often find ourselves chatting next to the food table. Oliver is our sweet baby boy and he was born in June 2010. We can’t tell if he looks like us because we can’t see past his chubby cheeks.

Background: Grew up on a farm in Montana, one of 861 people in the whole county and less than a million in the whole state. I have a dad, a mom and two younger sisters.

Education: Homeschool (2000), Northwestern College (2004), when I say stupid things, they tell me I’m in Mom School.

Residence: Minneapolis, MN. I came to this frozen wasteland for college, and found quite a few reasons to stay. UPDATE: We bought a house in the Phillips Neighborhood in 2010, and we’re putting down roots.

Employment: Worked as a receptionist at Bethlehem Baptist Church for about five years. Despite my historic dislike for the telephone, this job was a great fit for me. I stopped working at Bethlehem when my baby boy was born, and now I am loving my new life as a fulltime stay-at-home wife and mom.

I wish it was my garden, Joshua Lee! On our honeymoon we drove on a twisty mountain road that almost made me carsick, and then we popped out next to the ocean. It was a very beautiful spot.

I am SO glad that you blog or log, or whatever. It’s great, Jeff…. it really is.

I wonder if I will ever be able to call you by your real name again.

    FRIEND!! 🙂

I do insist: my skin is the only thing keeping me from going everywhere at once–I’m so excited to see you have your own corner of the internet!! This new information has positively made my night! Currently, I have an email sitting in my Drafts folder waiting for me to hit the send button to arrive in your inbox. Now that you know that, I’ll hit “Send” tomorrow (too late now–I’m off to bed…right after adding you to my Reader).

Hey, where’s that email you got me all psyched about? Or more properly, where is the email about which you got me psyched?

Hi! I don’t know you but I found your blog through 22 Words. I really enjoy it. I just want to let you know that I’m kind of ripping off your limerick idea and having a limerick contest at my blog. I thought I should inform you of my plagiarism. 🙂

    Hi Jessica:

I’m Latisha. You helped me a few times that I called Desiring God to donate and to find out info on last year’s conference I attended. You left me a message today at my blog. I’m glad you stopped by. Congrats on your marriage ( a bit over a year now, I see). I’d love to keep in touch with you. I’m also on twitter and think I may reactivate my facebook.

Mentioned to a certain mail carrier that I bumped into you… she is thinking of you & hoping you + baby are doing well. I’ll be enjoying the comedy of being a receptionist for the both of us btw.
