don’t know trespassing

September 2, 2010
Trespass:
  • err, sin
  • to make an unwarranted or uninvited incursion
  • to commit a trespass; especially : to enter unlawfully upon the land of another

Does the absence of a No Trespassing sign imply that trespassing is allowed? Can you trespass when no sign is posted? We don’t have a sign (yet), but strangers routinely trespass in our yard and in our driveway. Or do they?

You could always sit outside on the porch with the baby and a shotgun. No tresspassing would be strong implied.
