I have never received a compliment involving puking, which I would have been proud of, until now.

Hi, my parents named me Amy but I’m “whimzie” on my blog. I just moved from Boston back to Louisiana.

I must have found your blog through 22 Words because I’ve been reading that blog for awhile.

I find your blog to be quirky, a trait I greatly admire and resemble. I enjoyed playing the word game with you when you were sick, by the way. I mostly lurk here, but enjoyed the opportunity to introduce myself to you today.

I’m David. I found your blog through 22 words and knew I would probably read it often after seeing this post:

    http://tendigitlumber.com/2009/05/25/buckle-up/

and after I saw it I read it, then I REALLY knew.

I enjoy reading about the fascination others have with words–studying accounting at an engineering school in the south kind of intrinsically discourages the refinement of writing and does little to increase affections for language, the blog is a breath of fresh air to say the least.

    Hello!
    I’m Laurie Lynn.
I linked from 22 Words awhile back.
    I do subscribe.
Your question, “Who are all you people, anyway?” reminded my husband and me of a Spongebob episode.
To properly answer that question would be too involved, but thank you for asking! Congratulations on 100 posts! How sweet that your mom commented so lovingly! I haven’t read her favorite post, but I plan on reading it soon. Blessings.
    Laurie

I was really sad when I read down through all the comments and saw that not one person had come from MY blog (as I have you listed as a place our family likes to visit). Looks like Abraham wins–that’s how I came to find Ten Digit Lumber.

I love to read your posts, and am doing my part to send people your way!!
