quite a pair

June 15, 2009

Speaking of syringes, my friend Kelly found these laminated relics in an old file folder at church. What are they from? How are they related, if at all? We’ll never know, but I’d still love to hear your hypotheses.

does the blue on the lower side of the plunger-head represent emptiness…and the clear above it liquid??

ok…this is admittedly kind of lame, but imagine a bulletin board encouraging people to come to church, or read the Bible, to “inoculate” themselves against sin and get Eternal Glory. Theologically it is weak, but then I find alot of church signage is.

“Don’t just give yourself a quick fix, something that will heal and help you for a short time, come to Jesus, the ultimate Healer & Helper, for that everlasting fix of Eternal Glory!” oh yeah, they totally go together!
